I am dedicated to ensuring Equitable Healthcare for all. Throughout my career, I have been committed to serving our nation's most vulnerable populations. In our patient communities, the profound impact of social determinants of health, from poverty and housing insecurity to systemic racism and untreated mental health issues, is unmistakable. Beyond delivering clinical care and leading medical teams, I lead a research initiative dedicated to ED outreach worker programs for youth impacted by violence and individuals facing homelessness. I strongly believe in the power of innovative healthcare solutions that not only improve patient outcomes but also drive down costs. That's why I advocate tirelessly for our patients, colleagues, and healthcare system, engaging with policymakers, governments, and media to push for transformative change. Advocacy isn't just one part of my professional identity—it's woven into every aspect of what I do.

Other Forms of Advocacy
I regularly meet with government officials and policy makers to help them translate what we are seeing on the frontlines into solutions backed by evidence. As often as possible, I try to bring them to our hospital to see the issues first hand and to introduce them to the healthcare workers and sometimes people who are most affected by the system that needs a lot of work. I have provided depositions at hearings from the national to local levels.
