Canadian Women Leaders in Emergency Medicine Workshop

Women leaders in Canadian Emergency Medicine face unique challenges and gender-related issues, including discrimination, pay inequity, and work-life balance struggles. To address these issues, women-focused workshops provide a valuable platform for networking, sharing experiences, and receiving mentorship from other women who have faced similar situations. These workshops also offer leadership training and skill-building sessions tailored to the specific needs and experiences of women leaders in emergency medicine.

This retreat is designed for formal and informal leaders in Canadian Emergency Medicine who identify as women, including those in training, early career, mid-career, late career, and leader-emeritus positions. It encompasses leaders in various domains, such as administration, clinical practice, education, research, quality improvement, innovation, and other areas within the dynamic field of emergency medicine.
